WPO AIX-LES-BAINS 2026: Follow the Entire Festival Live with LivePoker!

Six days of poker, ambitious fields, tournaments for every type of player, and one destination: Aix-les-Bains.

From Tuesday, September 22 to Sunday, September 27, 2026, the World Poker Open Aix-les-Bains will set the pace for the French poker season. For the occasion, LivePoker will be on site to bring you live coverage of the entire festival: tournament action, chip counts, highlights, eliminations, final tables and results.

A festival to follow closely, with a particularly packed schedule and several major events that should quickly capture the attention of players and poker fans alike.

The Opener Kicks Off the Action


The festival will get underway on Tuesday, September 22 at 4:30 p.m. with Event #01 Opener Mystery Day 1, a €250 tournament featuring a 30,000-chip starting stack and 20-minute levels. With its Mystery Bounty format, the Opener promises an action-packed and spectacular start to the festival.

Players will also be able to jump into the €110 SAT Main Event Hit&Run on the opening day, as well as the €150 Tuesday Sprint, two perfect additions to the schedule offering something for every type of player.

The Opener final will take place on Wednesday, September 23 at 1:00 p.m., following an opening day that should already deliver plenty of exciting battles at the tables.

The Main Event, the Centerpiece of WPO Aix-les-Bains


The highlight of the festival, the €500 WPO Main Event, will feature several starting flights:

– Day 1A: Wednesday, September 23 at 12:00 p.m.
– Day 1B: Thursday, September 24 at 12:00 p.m.
– Day 1C: Friday, September 25 at 12:00 p.m.
– Day 1D Turbo: Friday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m.

Players will start with 50,000 chips, with 30-minute levels during the regular starting flights. The structure has been designed to provide plenty of room for play and give players the opportunity to build their stacks over the course of the tournament.

Day 2 is scheduled for Saturday, September 26 at 12:00 p.m., before the tournament reaches its conclusion on Sunday, September 27 at 12:30 p.m. The Main Event final will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the festival, and LivePoker will bring you all the action from the closing stages, including chip counts and the final outcome of the WPO's flagship event.

Battle Royale: An Event Not to Be Missed


Another major highlight of the schedule, the Battle Royale will feature a €750 buy-in and a 50,000-chip starting stack. Day 1 will take place on Wednesday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m., with 25-minute levels, before the tournament concludes with its final on Thursday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m.

With its bounty format and attractive prize pool, the Battle Royale should deliver plenty of action and attract a strong field of players ready to battle it out at the tables.

 

 

The MonsterStack for Deep-Stack Poker Fans


On Saturday, September 26 at 1:00 p.m., the spotlight will turn to the MonsterStack, a €300 tournament also featuring a 50,000-chip starting stack. With 25-minute levels, this event should prove particularly appealing to players who enjoy deep structures and plenty of post-flop decision-making.

The MonsterStack final will take place on Sunday, September 27 at 1:00 p.m., alongside the High Roller final. Sunday therefore promises to be an especially intense day at the tables in Aix-les-Bains.

The High Roller, the Festival's Premium Event


Players looking for a more exclusive tournament can turn their attention to the €1,000 High Roller, with Day 1 scheduled for Saturday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. Players will receive a 100,000-chip starting stack, with 30-minute levels.

The final will take place on Sunday, September 27 at 1:00 p.m. With an ambitious structure and what promises to be a highly competitive field, the High Roller will be one of the most prestigious events of WPO Aix-les-Bains 2026.

A Full Schedule for Every Type of Player


The festival will not be limited to its five major tournaments. Throughout the week, players will also have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of side events:

– Rodéo KO – Wednesday, September 23 at 4:00 p.m.
– Desperado KO – Thursday, September 24 at 4:00 p.m.
– Gladiator Bounty ITM – Friday, September 25 at 1:00 p.m.
– €200 High Roller Hit&Run – Friday, September 25 at 8:00 p.m.
– Ladies – Saturday, September 26 at 5:00 p.m.
– Sunday Mystery – Sunday, September 27 at 11:30 a.m.
– Last Chance – Sunday, September 27 at 4:00 p.m.

The schedule also includes several Main Event Satellites, Hit&Run tournaments and daily €150 Sprints, running from Tuesday through Saturday. A varied line-up designed to appeal both to regulars on the live circuit and to players looking to take their shot in just one event.
