Leo Margets continues to make waves in the 2025 WSOP Main Event. Sixteen years after her historic deep run, the Spanish player is just a few steps away from another legendary performance.

Sixteen years after achieving an incredible 27th place finish in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker, Leo Margets is enjoying another dream run in Las Vegas. In the latest episode of Dans La Tête D'un Pro, the Spanish player is still in contention in the 2025 edition with only 24 survivors remaining after Day 7.

Already the author of a memorable performance in 2009, Margets seems determined to push her limits even further in the most prestigious tournament on the planet. Technically solid and particularly inspired in key moments, the Spanish player has navigated a massive field to move one step closer to a historic final table.

But the road to the title is still long! Among the remaining contenders is Michael Mizrachi, a true unstoppable force over the past few days. The American, a four-time winner of the Poker Players Championship and a regular on the biggest stages, is setting the pace at the table with a very large stack. The two players have already faced each other several times during this deep run, resulting in particularly tense confrontations.

Facing the experience and aggression of “The Grinder,” Leo Margets continues to deliver, supported by a very energetic rail and the hope of becoming the first woman to reach the WSOP Main Event final table in nearly thirty years.

As Day 8 approaches, all eyes will be on the Spanish player, who has never seemed so close to writing a new page in poker history!
