Day 3 of DSO Namur 2026 delivered an intense final sprint, with each hand bringing the remaining players closer to the finish. Day 3 of the DSO Namur 2026 Main Event ended with a fast and controlled finale. There were still 23 players in contention at the start of the day, and it took only 220 minutes to reach the final table, which was played on stream with hole cards revealed.
Two Belgian players were present at the final table. Fabian Palotai recorded the best local result with a 6th-place finish, while Farid Azarkan was eliminated on the very first hand (9th). Just before the final table, Kader Slila finished just short of the TF after a dramatic hand, while Sandrine Phan took 19th place, confirming her consistency after a recent deep run at the Carnival.
With 1,147 entries, the tournament confirmed its strength on the European circuit, ranking among the Top 5 attendances in the festival’s history. The 167 players who made the money shared a prize pool of €514,775.
A HIGH-TENSION FINAL DUEL... AND A DECISIVE DEAL

Once heads-up was reached, Quentin Thavisouk and Julien Montois agreed to a financial deal. The agreement guaranteed €59,660 to Montois and €56,840 to Thavisouk, while leaving €7,500 and the trophy to play for.
In this heads-up battle, Quentin Thavisouk took control to officially claim the victory. Julien Montois finished runner-up after a solid overall performance.
The DSO circuit will next head to Pornic, while the Circus Casino Resort Namur will host the Classic’s from April 23 to May 3.
