The curtain has fallen in Paris. After several days of battle and a massive field, the €5,300 Main Event of the European Poker Tour Paris 2026 saw Portugal's Jorge Abreu emerge victorious after a perfectly controlled final table!

The €5,300 Main Event of EPT Paris 2026 has now come to an end! A total of 1,474 entries were recorded, generating a prize pool of €7,075,200. In the final stretch, it was ultimately Portugal’s Jorge Abreu who claimed victory for €1,148,600, securing the biggest live cash of his career.

Starting the final table as the overwhelming chip leader, Abreu quickly pulled away. A three-way all-in hand, where his flush eliminated Tomas Jozonis (6th) and France’s Thierry Gogniat (7th, €179,350), firmly put him on course for the title.

He then knocked out Nazar Buhaiov (5th), Casimir Seire (4th), and Enrico Coppola (3rd) before defeating Germany’s Felix Schneiders heads-up. The runner-up takes home €717,350, while Coppola earns €512,400 for his third-place finish.

With this victory, Jorge Abreu becomes the fourth Portuguese player to win an EPT Main Event.
