LIVEPOKER 2025 RANKINGS: Jean-Noël Thorel takes the top spot in the rankings, overtaking Alexandre Reard!

After dominating the French Livepoker rankings for a long time, Alexandre Reard has ceded his place to Jean-Noel Thorel. We take stock.

After leading the Livepoker rankings for a large part of the year 2025, Alexandre Reard was eventually overtaken at the end of the year! Indeed, after delivering outstanding performances in the Bahamas, Jean-Noel Thorel moves into first place in our rankings with a total of 2,982 points.

His second-place finish in the $26,000 Super Main Event at the WSOP Paradise was, of course, decisive and allowed him to rack up a maximum number of points.

For the record, in this event Jean-Noel cashed for no less than $6,000,000, recording the most lucrative result of his career. Jean-Noel Thorel’s live tournament earnings now exceed $27,000,000!

Alexandre Reard therefore drops to second place in the Livepoker rankings, with a total of 2,403 points.

Thomas Eychenne, meanwhile, sits in third place with 2,033 points. He too has been extremely active at the end of 2025! It’s fair to say he fully justifies his place within Team Smardex, having also performed strongly across several WSOP Paradise events. Most notably, he finished third in the $10,500 Super Plossus (PLO) for a payout of $281,000!

Further down the rankings, we find Thomas Santerne (1,915 pts) in fourth position, followed by the talented Cécile Ticherfatine (1,852 pts) and Benoit Grobocopatel (1,500 pts). Julien Sitbon of Team Winamax claims seventh place in the rankings with 1,484 points, while Yoh Viral takes eighth place with 1,322 points.

The latter also made a significant jump in our rankings thanks to his outstanding performance at the WSOP Paradise! The player collected the biggest win of his career — $1,534,645 — after capturing a bracelet in the $25K GG Millions Single Day Turbo.
