This Friday, August 22, 753 players will line up at the start of Day 2 to battle it out and try to win the biggest share of the prize pool !

With a total of 5,036 participants recorded across all eight starting days, a final group of 753 survivors will return for Day 2 of the PokerStars Open €1,650 this Friday, August 22nd, starting at 11 a.m.! The prize pool is particularly enticing, having reached a record-breaking sum of €7,251,840!

Big Names on Day 2

Among the players who qualified during the penultimate flight are PokerStars ambassador Kenny Hallaert (329,000), as well as 2024 EPT winner Stephen Song (267,000). During the final Day 1H, we saw Jon Kyte (518,000), Belgian player Thomas Boivin (475,000), Alex Keating (418,000), along with Nacho Barbero (273,000) and Ren Lin (242,000) secure their seats for the next stage of the competition.

France Representing!

On the French side, two players have made it into the Top 20: Anthony Albertini, ranked 7th with 718,000 chips, and Hugo de la Fouchardière, who will start Day 2 with an impressive stack of 661,000 chips.

Across all eight flights, the player who bagged the most chips is Germany’s Ben Zech! He is the only participant to surpass the one million chip mark, finishing Day 1G with a stack of 1,384,000 chips!

Day 2 will take place this Friday starting at 11 a.m., and players will resume play with blinds at 3,000/6,000!
