Phil Hellmuth claims that the poll regarding his participation in the WSOP was rigged !

Before the 2025 WSOP, Phil Hellmuth decided to conduct a poll to ask his fans whether he should play in the Main Event. His manager now claims that the poll was rigged !

Just before the start of the 2025 WSOP festival in Las Vegas, Phil Hellmuth made headlines due to his intention not to play the Main Event this year. The Poker Brat felt that the tournament was becoming increasingly difficult to play, with days that were far too long and lacked proper rest periods. After proposing a change to the organizers, his request was ultimately denied.

Following this refusal, Phil Hellmuth intended to boycott the Main Event and not participate in the iconic tournament of the 2025 edition. To make a decision, Phil launched a poll on his X account, and after the first 4,000 votes, 73% of participants suggested he should play the Main. However, right afterward, 3,000 consecutive votes suddenly tipped the balance in favor of the boycott!

His agent now claims that the poll was manipulated, ultimately convincing the Poker Brat not to take part in the greatest tournament in the world! Phil insists it was the work of a troll farm, and in the end, he didn’t let the poll make the decision for him.
