With two wins at the Wynn and a deep run in the WSOP Main Event, the Frenchman revealed himself in Sin C

There was certainly the victory of Giuseppe Zarbo, the most French of Italians, the fine performances of Alexandre Réard at both the Horseshoe and the Wynn, and a few highlights here and there, but it must be recognized that the Frenchman's summer 2025 record will not go down in history. Fortunately, it was further enhanced by Romain Locquet, who achieved a rather rare feat by winning two Wynn Summer Classic events in less than a month, thus marking a memorable summer.

After a nice cash in the World Series Monster Stack, the young Frenchman distinguished himself by winning an $1,100 NLH Turbo at the Wynn for a prize of $46,536 on June 13. This performance was confirmed with two cashes and, further, a superb deep run in the WSOP Main Event, finishing in 164th place with a prize of €60,000. Romain Locquet's American journey was undoubtedly already a success before the grand finale of his victory on July 14 in another $1100 NLH Turbo at the Wynn, earning $49,087 after beating a field of 215 entrants. The Frenchman's race results: two trophies and more than $170,000 in his bag!
