The Spanish Team Winamax player is on a mission to become the first woman to win the WSOP Main Event

There were 9,735 players at the start of this unparalleled tournament. After eight days of intense competition, only nine are left dreaming of the most prestigious of all poker titles and the $10 million it rewards. Among these lucky and talented survivors are stars like Michael Mizrachi and Kenny Hallaert, and a renowned and particularly popular professional on both sides of the Pyrenees, Leo Margets!

The Spaniard has achieved a real feat, becoming the first woman to reach this highly prized final table since Barbara Enright in 1995 (although Gaelle Baumann - 10th in 2012 - and Kristen Foxen - 13th last year) came very close. The Winamax Pro Team will enter the final with real ambitions, as their talent was evident throughout the tournament. With a perfectly decent stack of 53 million representing 33 big blinds, Leo Margets will be able to fully defend her chances and why not become the first Spanish representative to win the trophy since Carlos Mortensen in 2001. She would also become the first woman to win the Main Event!

Leo Margets in figures:

1 bracelet won in 2021 (The Closer)

3 titles on the circuit

16th on the Spanish All-Time Money List before the final

41 years old

$1,000,000, the amount she is already guaranteed to win

$2,090,706 in live circuit earnings (before the 2025 Main Event)
