Victory for Giuseppe Zarbo at the WSOP, the most French of all Italians.

It's done! For the first time since the beginning of the 2025 WSOP, a French player has won his first World Series bracelet, and his name is Giuseppe Zarbo, a well-known player on the circuit. In Event #80: $800 Summer Celebration, two starting flights were held, with a total of 7,078 participants!

The prize pool reached $3,700,000, and after two days of play, Giuseppe Zarbo managed to climb to the top spot and take home the largest share of the pot — $504,180. At the final table, he defeated Japanese player Ryo Kotake, who finished as runner-up for $332,840.
