It's a done deal for Martin Kabrhel! After battling it out for three days in a massive field of 10,794 entrants, Kabrhel came out on top in the $1,000 Mini Main Event, taking home $843,140! In the heads-up match, he bested his American opponent Alexander Yen. The latter finishes as the runner-up and walks away with the consolation prize of $566,170.
Thanks to this victory, Martin Kabrhel secures his fourth WSOP bracelet and now has over $15 million in live tournament winnings, demonstrating that despite an attitude at the tables judged by some as outrageous, he is currently one of the best in the world.
In the Top 10, we also note the presence of Frenchman Allan Tirel, who bowed out in seventh place. After a long battle, he earned the biggest cash of his career, pocketing $146,740. A bit further down the leaderboard, two other French players also got close to the big money. Among them, Thomas Cazayous (14th for $44,950), as well as Clément Bonnant, who was eliminated in 17th place for the same amount.
