The investigation has come to an end, and the WSOP has decided not to award a bracelet to the Millionaire Maker winner. The winnings will be shared between the final two players.

The WSOP organization has finally made a decision regarding the chip dumping incident during the heads-up of the Millionaire Maker! Indeed, the tournament, which had gathered 11,996 players, was won by Jesse Yaginuma after his victory over James Carroll in the heads-up.

The poker community had noticed some unusual moves during the duel, and the WSOP eventually decided to investigate a possible collusion between the two players.

After a few days of radio silence, the verdict is in: the WSOP has decided that no bracelet will be awarded to the winner of the event this year! In addition, the remaining prize pool will be split between the two final players, who will each receive $1,133,750. It’s worth noting that Jesse Yaginuma will still benefit from the ClubWPT Gold one-million-dollar bonus!

This rather embarrassing episode might reignite the debate around the involvement of private partners and the potential bonuses awarded by partner platforms (ClubWPT Gold) as part of the WSOP.
