It's back to back for Japanese player Shiina Okamoto, who wins Event #70 Ladies Championship. She walked away with $184,094 and the world champion bracelet.

If there's one player who has been consistently impressive over the past three years at the WSOP Ladies Championship, it's Shiina Okamoto! In 2023, she finished as runner-up, and in 2024, Shiina Okamoto won the event, taking home $171,732. At the final table, she even went head-to-head with the Queen Squad leader, Cécile Ticherfertine.

This year, she's done it again, achieving an incredible back-to-back victory in this event. After four days of play in a tournament that drew 1,368 participants, the Japanese player emerged victorious at the end of a long final table. In the heads-up, she outplayed her opponent, Heather Alcorn. For her win, she earns $184,094 and another WSOP bracelet!

For her performance, the runner-up takes home $122,654, while American player Stephani Hagberg completes the podium with $87,695. It's also worth mentioning the impressive showing from Florence Mazet! The journalist decided to cross over to the player’s side for the duration of one event and finished in 44th place, earning $4,529.
