Let's have a look on what happened around the tables of the WSOP today

One Day in Vegas – June 24, 2025

WSOP Day 29 – Between adrenaline, bracelets, and sleepless nights at the Rio

It’s 3 a.m., and some tables are still echoing with the final clinks of chips. The WSOP is in full swing, and this 29th day was as electric as it was intense. From bracelets awarded to massive fields in action and the buzzing energy in the Horseshoe hallways—here’s what you shouldn't have missed.

Two More Bracelets Awarded Today

Dutch player Sebastiaan DE JONGE (the only European at the final table) outlasted a field of 3,074 players in Event #59 — $1,000 Battle of the Ages — to take home $335,390 and his first WSOP bracelet. This generational showdown lived up to the hype, filled with a festive atmosphere and maximum tension until the late hours of the night. The “young guns” clearly dominated the generational clash, claiming 8 of the top 9 spots. See you next year for the old guard’s revenge!

In a completely different style—more technical and subdued—MOSHE GAVRIELI triumphed in Event #60 — $3,000 Limit Hold’em 6-Handed. He walks away with $200,303 after a methodical and precise heads-up battle in a variant typically loved by poker purists.

What Happened Today?

• The Millionaire Maker (Event #53), with 11,996 entries, entered its critical phase. Day 4 saw the field shrink dramatically—only 7 contenders remain!

• The $500 Freezeout (Event #61) drew huge crowds: over 4,000 players in total, with a very lively Day 2.

• Event #62 — $5,000 NLHE 6-max — gained momentum: lots of pros, a few French players still in contention, and monster pots already flying across the tables.

• Finally, the $1,500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw (Event #63) kicked off its Day 1 in a studious, old-school vibe.

The Day’s Vibe: Between Frenzy and Fatigue

It’s impossible not to feel the high-stakes poker atmosphere when 9 tournaments are in motion on the same day. The room buzzes, chips stack high in the middle, tension hangs in the air, and breaths are held with each river card revealed...

By midnight, some were bagging chips for tomorrow, while others were just starting their late reg. Vegas never sleeps—and neither do the players.

What to Watch Tomorrow

• The return of the final 7 in the Millionaire Maker, with $1.2 million up top and at least $1 million guaranteed for 1st and 2nd.

• The final phases of Event #62 and the $500 Freezeout.

• The kickoff of the highly anticipated Super Seniors (Event #64) and the fun yet strategic Tag Team (Event #65).

• The start of the prestigious Poker Players Championship (Event #66 – $50k buy-in), where you can bet the crème de la crème of the poker world will be in attendance.

The Frenchies on the Hunt

A strong day for Arnaud ENSELME, Benoit FIASSON, and Adrien DELMAS, who are still in the running in the $5,000 6-max, with Erwann PECHEUX especially standing out—currently Top 4 with 54 players left. Nothing is locked in, but the stacks are growing, and the path looks clear for a deep French run. The French trio has already locked up over $13,000, but there's $855,000 waiting for the winner!
