Team Winamax player Joao Vieira is in full rush at the WSOP 2025. Since the start of the festival, the Portuguese player has already racked up 6 lines of winnings !

Since the start of the 2025 WSOP edition, one player in particular has been making waves with his results. We're talking about none other than Joao Vieira, one of the most iconic members of Team Winamax. Since the beginning of the World Series in Las Vegas, the Portuguese player has racked up a number of strong performances.

And that's putting it mildly! In just a few weeks, Joao Vieira has already scored no less than 6 ITM finishes, including an outstanding result in the $100,000 Super High Roller 8-Handed, earning a massive $2,649,158. Thanks to this achievement, Vieira has now comfortably surpassed $20 million in live tournament earnings.

Exemplary consistency

And that’s not all! Just weeks after the festival began, Joao finished 11th for $30,000 in the $10,000 Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better. In early June, he did it again, placing 41st in the $25,000 NLH High Roller for $50,000, and 30th for $10,000 in the $1,500 Pot Limit Big O. Two days after that last performance, the Winamax Team Pro reached 14th place in the $50,000 NLH High Roller for $107,000. As a cherry on top, Joao Vieira also just finished 4th in the $10,000 Razz Championship, taking home $101,983!

There’s still nearly a month of competition left, and it’s a safe bet we’ll see Joao again, deep in another tournament chasing a 6- or 7-figure score!
