Day 3 of Event #9 at the 2025 WSOP, the prestigious $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, ended with five players remaining. Leading the pack is Viktor Blom, known online as "Isildur1", holding a strong chip lead. Daniel Negreanu, already a seven-time WSOP champion, is still in contention, aiming for number eight.
Tension built quickly at the final table with the early elimination of Ben Lamb, who lost to Maxx Coleman’s quads. Blom then dominated the table, busting Daniel Spear and Micah Brooks, and finishing the day by eliminating Maxx Coleman with a rivered flush.
The showdown between Blom and Negreanu promises fireworks. Two generations of poker legends are about to battle for the title. He defeated Costa Rican GGPoker ambassador Michael Acevedo heads-up, who had to settle for $563,350 for second place.
