By winning Event #2: $500 Industry Employees No-Limit Hold'em, Phovieng Keokham is the first player to become World Champion in 2025 in Las Vegas !

After two days of competition, Phovieng Keokham became the first player to be crowned World Champion at the 2025 WSOP by winning the title in Event #2: $500 Industry Employees No-Limit Hold'em and taking home $64,369, ahead of his compatriot Christopher Zollo, who secured second place with a payout of $42,886!
