The verdict came down this weekend: after weeks of fierce competition, Antoine Berruel convinced the jury and became the new face of PMU Poker®. A dream come true, a €50,000 contract, and a year to reveal himself on the world's finest poker stages.

 

He dreamed of living poker full-time. He will now wear the colors of one of the most iconic brands on the circuit. Antoine Berruel, 32 years old, has entered the professional world by winning the 11th edition of ProDream PMU Poker.

 

From click to consecration: Antoine Berruel is finally living his dream

 

 

It all started as an online adventure. Today, it is a springboard to a career in the pro circuit. By winning the 2025 edition of ProDream organized by PMU Poker®, Antoine Berruel landed the contract so many amateur players dream of: a one-year sponsorship deal to represent the room on the biggest international poker stages, with professional support and a €50,000 prize.

The player from western France is not just a good technician. He also managed to impress a demanding jury, made up of figures from the room and industry personalities. What made the difference? A clear presentation, a genuine personality, and a determination that seems unbreakable.

He thus succeeds Jérémy Surinach, winner in 2024, and joins Team PMU Poker®, already featuring the renowned Julien Martini, an internationally acclaimed player. Supervised by Team Manager Grégory Ceran-Maillard, Antoine starts a decisive year, rubbing shoulders with the elite and discovering the behind-the-scenes of a demanding yet exciting profession.

Before reaching his Grail, Antoine had to overcome several stages. He first stood out in the Cash Game Mid rankings on April 24, then dominated the MTT challenge on May 3 to secure a spot among the six finalists. At each stage, he proved solid, focused, and true to his game principles.

Facing him, five other talented candidates who won’t go home empty-handed: each of them wins a package for Las Vegas worth €4,250, a nice consolation prize for a high-level final.

The baptism of fire for the new ProDream will happen very soon. Starting Wednesday, he will take part in the second stage of the France Poker Open in La Grande-Motte. An opportunity to officially wear the PMU Poker® colors and show, cards in hand, why he deserved this role.

But the most anticipated event is of course this summer’s: the WSOP in Las Vegas, where he will represent the room in the temple of world poker, alongside thousands of players from around the world. A dive into the heart of high-level competition.

With this 11th edition, ProDream confirms its central role in the brand's development strategy. More than just a contest, it’s become a real tool for detecting and training the future stars of French poker.

For Antoine Berruel, the time has come to shift from dream to reality. For a year, he will live what many amateur players hope for without daring to believe: direct access to the professional circuit, the most prestigious tournaments, the greatest encounters.
