1,300 entries for a €2,200 buy-in in this new version of the PokerStars High Roller, and it was Britain's Mathew Frankland who came out on top !

While in the Main Event version of the PokerStars Open, it was Norwegian Jon Kyte who claimed victory, this time another European neighbor and subject of King Charles, Mathew Frankland, triumphed in the €2,200 High Roller and inscribed his name in the Monte-Carlo live events winners’ list for this brand-new tournament.

 

Three French players in the TOP 10 of this event with a €2,600,000 prize pool

There’s no doubt about it — the French are on fire at this EPT Monte-Carlo. With no fewer than three French players in the TOP 10 of Event#15 €2,200 PokerStars Open High Roller, Foued Benjima finished 7th for €63,930, Jean-Hyacinthe Casabianca 9th for €37,830, and Azzedine Mehal 10th for €29,120 — all this in a field where 194 players made the money, with a min-cash of €3,260.

Mathew Frankland is therefore the big winner of this event, which attracted many circuit regulars. He managed to overcome Irishman Glen Keogh, who took home €255,800 as the runner-up.
