It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isidore Partouche, founder of the eponymous group, at the age of 94.
A key figure in the gaming and entertainment industry, Isidore Partouche did more than build an empire; he profoundly transformed the casino landscape in France and across Europe. Since acquiring the Saint-Amand-les-Eaux casino in 1973, he had consistently defended a humanistic, inclusive, and bold vision of entertainment. Thanks to him, the casino became a place of life, culture, and connection, open to all.
Isidore Partouche managed to turn a family venture into a leading group in the leisure sector. Starting in the 2000s, he gradually handed over the reins to his son Patrick, ensuring the continuity of a project deeply rooted in family and entrepreneurial values.
A man of family, loyalty, and conviction, Isidore Partouche left a mark far beyond the industry: he touched generations of employees, partners, and players. His name will forever be associated with a particular vision of innovation in the gaming world, as well as with respect, elegance, and legacy.
He leaves behind a remarkable legacy: a leading group that today ranks among the European leaders, operating 44 casinos across France, Europe, and Tunisia. Groupe Partouche also manages 12 hotels, 44 restaurants, two golf courses, and hosts nearly 4,000 events each year. It employs more than 3,500 people across its various locations.
The entire LivePoker team extends its deepest condolences to his family and to the thousands of employees within the Group.
