After criticism from the Argentinian about the operator's involvement in combating cheating, he decided to terminate the contract.

This is a direct consequence of the scandal that arose from a photo clearly showing Nacho Barbero using decision-making software, in this case GTO Wizard (RTA), during an online tournament session on ACR. At the time, the Argentinian had stated that the window had been opened for coaching his students and not to assist him in his personal decisions, an explanation that convinced his sponsor, and that was about it.

While playing a game streamed on PokerGo, Barbero was questioned by Isaac Haxton about the subject. The American pro asked him if the room was making efforts to combat cheating. The Argentinian's response was as terse as it was worrying: "I don't even think they're trying!"

The consequences of such frankness were immediate, with a statement from ACR Poker announcing the end of the contract between the operator and its ambassador: "The nature of these comments expresses a total disagreement with our values. As a result, we have decided to end our collaboration with Nacho as an ambassador." The operator's CEO did not hesitate to be critical of Barbero, explaining that the latter had never concerned himself with cheating and security issues during meetings or discussions.
