Austrian Max Neugebauer came out on top in this DAY 1B marathon of entries and eliminations !

The day was once again long and full of emotions, ending in the early hours of the night with a Franco-Austrian podium as the final result!

 

An incredible comeback by Mercedes Osti, Neugebauer reigns as the DAY 1B emperor

 

"They set out 393 strong and only 98 reached the harbor": if this day had to be summed up with a saying, it would be this one. Even more players than yesterday took part in a day where many crashed out on an unforgiving board, and the outcome was far from the same for everyone.

Samuel Bifarella, Pierre Merlin, Mourad Amokrane, Paul Pires-Trigo, Sarah Ramirez, Julien Mariani, Bruno Fitoussi, Alexane Najchaus, Gaelle Baumann... they were many to hit the rail, some disappointed, others frustrated, not having made it past Day 1 — even though they’ll still have two more shots tomorrow.

For others, DAY 1B was a day of fulfillment and enjoyment, especially for the three chip leaders: Max Neugebauer (688,000), Mercedes Osti (525,000), and Azzedine Zouitene with 488,000 chips — forming Friday’s "winning podium".

The 98 survivors will also return for DAY 2 on Sunday, all dreaming, deep down, of winning the most beautiful ring of the week!
