The Pasino GRAND in Aix-en-Provence was buzzing like never before this Thursday. In a mix of electricity, tension, and passion, Day 1C of the 2025 Winamax Poker Tour Grand Final delivered a true show of force. With record attendance and a high level of play, this day will remain etched in the history of the festival.
A massive field and a breathtaking poker marathon
Coralie Sferrazza has every reason to smile after this stellar day!
A total of 936 entries took to the felt for a poker marathon lasting over 11 hours. Chips were flying, eyes locked, and stacks exploded across the tables. But at the top of this mountain of cards, one man ruled the action: Timothée Rey, who closed out Day 1C as the dominant chip leader with 1,081,000 chips. A SISMIX semi-finalist last year, he confirms his excellent form and momentum on the live circuit.
Right behind him, Shahine Ramdjee solidly positioned himself in the top tier with 1,041,000 chips, just ahead of Thomas Perrin, who bagged 972,000 after a steady and controlled climb. Coralie Sferrazza, for her part, didn’t flinch and emerged as the top female player of the day with 951,000 chips, securing a spot in a well-balanced top five.
Among the familiar faces, Moundir enjoyed a high-intensity day, building a very comfortable stack of 775,000 chips. Behind this performance is a mindset built on respect and camaraderie around the tables.
Also advancing are several well-known players: Anthony Dasbourg, Damien Lhommeau, Abel Pruchon, Cécile Ticherfatine, Julien Stibon (the only Team W qualifier), Alexandre Le Vaillant, and Alex Gold Dalg, all making it through to Day 2.
On the short stack side, some managed to hold on. Kévin Martin (57,000), Yohann Bergeot (17,000), and Romain Jacotet (119,000) all secured a spot for Saturday, along with a min-cash as a first reward.
But if the day crowned some heroes, it also left many on the floor. Among the fallen were regulars like Antonin Teisseire, Anthony Cosentino, Mike D’Inca, Julien Veyssiere, Bruno Fitoussi, Ronan Monfort, Jérémy Cauchard (2024 champion), and Audrey Verlhomme, who will need to fire another bullet if they hope to shine on Day 1D.
With this Day 1C, the 2025 Grand Final has reached a whole new level. The intensity is rising, dynamics are forming, and one thing is certain: the best is yet to come.
