475 entries were registered in the Main Event of this BPT Ribeauvillé 2025, the historic stage of the famous tour created by the Barrière group. On March 23, 18 of them will be there to triumph !

If there’s one poker circuit that holds a special place in the hearts of French players, it’s the Barrière Poker Tour. A true institution in French poker, it has established itself over the years as an unmissable event, written in capital letters in every enthusiast’s calendar. More than just a tournament, the BPT is an atmosphere, a family, a collective story that each player dreams of marking with their name.

 

Only 18 left... and they all dream big

 

And in this month of March 2025, it is Victor PAHON ch who takes off, determined to write a new chapter of this legend, right here in Ribeauvillé, a gem of the Haut-Rhin region. The scenario is simple: €43,320 for the winner, a prestigious title to claim, and a dream to fulfill.

This Sunday, March 23, at exactly 2:00 PM, 18 players will return to take their seats around the final tables. 18 survivors, 18 contenders for the crown, driven by a common ambition: to join the glorious alumni of the BPT. We naturally think of Jean Montury, David Jaoui, or Sébastien Lebaron, all etched in the event’s history.

But this time, the spotlight is on one man: Victor Pahon. The local hero makes no secret of his ambitions. Like a true pack leader, he moves forward with confidence toward a destiny that could shift into the light. Yet, the road is full of traps: in front of him, hungry grinders — perhaps lesser-known, but just as formidable.

No media darlings here, no household names of the French poker scene. But it doesn’t matter. Around these tables, it’s the cards that speak, the chips that sing, and the hearts that beat harder. Willpower, patience, instinct... so many weapons in a battle where every mistake costs dearly.
