Despite a swift intervention and his transfer to a local hospital, he did not survive.

Mark Toulouse was an iconic figure in poker, known for his sharp strategy and exemplary fair play. His career was marked by success, with total winnings of $551,944, his biggest cash prize reaching $89,197. He ranked 294th on the all-time earnings list in Canada, his home country.
