Kristen Foxen has become the most decorated female poker player of all time.

By winning the final tournament of the PokerGO Cup 2025, Canadian Kristen Foxen surpassed Vanessa Selbst in the women's all-time tournament earnings rankings. This victory marks a major milestone in the history of women's poker.

Kristen Foxen: A Meteoric Rise to the Top of the Poker World

 

 

At 38 years old, Kristen Foxen has accumulated total winnings of $11,077,811, surpassing $10,999,027 of Vanessa Selbst, who had long dominated this ranking. Foxen, already the holder of five World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, solidified her position by winning the penultimate event of the PokerGO Cup 2025, adding $348,300 to her total earnings.

This outstanding performance is the result of a career dedicated to poker. Foxen began her professional career in 2013 by winning the Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship at the WSOP, earning $173,922. Since then, she has continued to climb the ranks, accumulating titles and distinctions. In 2023, she became the first woman to win a fourth online WSOP bracelet in the Crazy 8's event at $888, further cementing her poker legacy.

The PokerGO Cup 2025 was the stage for her latest triumph. In the penultimate tournament, a No-Limit Hold'em event with a $15,000 buy-in, Foxen outperformed fierce competition. The tournament attracted 86 participants, generating a prize pool of $1,290,000. Foxen dominated the final table, securing first place and the $348,300 prize that came with it.

This victory allows Foxen to take the top spot in the all-time women's poker earnings rankings, a position long held by Vanessa Selbst, who retired from professional poker in 2018 to pursue a career in finance. Now, Foxen and Selbst are the only women to have surpassed the $10 million mark in tournament earnings, followed by Kathy Liebert with $7,129,540.

Beyond her financial winnings, this victory earns Foxen 576 points in the Card Player Player of the Year (POY) rankings, placing her 7th in the 2025 standings. With two titles and three final tables this year, she also leads the PokerGO Tour leaderboard with 857 points.

Kristen Foxen continues to redefine the standards of women's poker, inspiring a new generation of female players to strive for excellence in this competitive field.
