The professional player Adam Hendrix has won his sixth title on the PGT circuit by taking down Event #3 of the PokerGo Cup 2025.

In a thrilling final, Hendrix managed to turn the tables despite starting from the bottom of the pack. His daring bluff against Harvey Castro will go down in the tournament's history.

A decisive bluff for victory

In the heads-up final, with similar stacks, Hendrix raised 900,000 chips from the big blind with a KQ of spades. Castro followed with 10-6. The flop came down 5-3-2 with a spade, Hendrix continued with a bet of 500,000, and Castro called. The turn revealed a 10, giving Castro top pair. Hendrix bet 1,700,000, Castro thought for a while before calling. The river brought a 6 of spades. Hendrix quickly went all-in for 4,800,000. After a long thought, Castro finally folded, allowing Hendrix to take a significant lead.

After this decisive play, Hendrix maintained the pressure, eventually eliminating Castro in second place with a pair of 7s against Castro's QJ. This victory earned Hendrix $316,050 and 316 PGT points.

The tournament also saw strong performances from Joao Simao (3rd place), Manuel Fritz (4th place), and Cherish Andrews (6th place), who continues to impress on the high roller scene in 2025.

With this win, Hendrix solidifies his position among the poker elite, adding a sixth PGT title to his already impressive resume.
