There were 3,050 entries for this 2025 edition of the famous Winter Main Track in Namur, and once again, a Dutch player won the prize, converting €250 into €60,755. His name is Hamoun Moenn. The amateur player succeeded his compatriote Pel Nieuwenhuis, who won €90,000 last year. Discreet, the new winner had even asked to avoid photos during his Day 1, but he couldn't hide when he posed after his final winning hand against Sabri Philipps (2nd place for €46,730). After a swift final table start, the four remaining players agreed to smooth out the variance on €177,000 before Hamoun Moenn's victory with a certain logic.
Namur, a city of beautiful history
A victory that could have been in jeopardy. The player who works in cryptocurrencies was initially accompanying his friend Pierre Gedi, who had a promising Day 1A. The two friends set off Friday evening, arriving at the Circus Casino Resort just minutes before the recordings ended. Hamoun was able to enter the Day 1H just in time, before outplaying his many opponents and securing the "second best victory of my poker career." It was worth a big smile!
